Every session connected to the goal.

The same training record carries through programming, scheduling, logging, progress, and coaching, so each next step can build on what actually happened.

Programs change. Schedules move. The next decision stays clear.

01One History

Change programs without starting your training history over.

Your training record is one continuous history across every program you have run. Starting, switching, pausing, ending early, completing, or changing coaches never erases the work you did.

  • Continuous Progress across every program
  • Each program run is a visible chapter in the same record
  • Repeat runs of the same program stay distinct chapters
  • Pause and resume without losing progress
  • End a program early and keep its chapter in your history
  • Change coaches without resetting your training record

02Actual Work

The record reflects the work completed—not only the workout planned.

Plan it. Then log what really happened.

The logger keeps the record truthful without taking attention away from the set. Capture what was prescribed and what you actually completed—then review the difference later.

  • Prescribed versus completed work
  • Actual sets, reps, loads, and difficulty (RPE)
  • Skipped sets and no-result sessions are kept honestly
  • Custom workouts, Full-Cycle Athletics, and Rep Builder all log real results
  • Session Summary shows the work that actually happened

Train Your Way

Three ways to train — one record underneath.

AthleticPeak Pro meets you wherever you are training. Follow a structured program, execute it with focus, or train independently — every session logs to the same continuous record.

01

Follow a Program

Structured training from AthleticPeak Pro's program library, proven methodologies, or training a coach created for you.

  • AthleticPeak Pro programs
  • Proven methodologies
  • Coach-created training
02

Execute With Focus

Once you understand the workout, Focus Mode removes distractions so you can execute. Log what really happens and adjust when reality differs from the prescription, with the recovery flow built in.

  • Reduced distractions
  • Execution-first logging
  • Adjust when reality differs from prescription
  • Integrated recovery flow
03

Train Independently

Train outside any prescribed program with Open Training. Choose your exercises, build a custom session, or reuse a Saved Workout — all logged to the same record.

  • Open Training
  • Exercise selection and custom sessions
  • Saved personal workouts

Open Training

Your training does not always come from a program.

Open Training gives athletes the freedom to create and record their own sessions while keeping every workout connected to their lifetime training record.

  1. Follow a Program
  2. Execute the Workout
  3. Create Your Own Training
  4. Keep Your History

Create Sessions

Athletes can choose exercises, build workouts, and log independent training.

  • Choose exercises
  • Build workouts
  • Log independent training

Execute Training

Log what really happens, set by set.

  • Weight
  • Reps
  • RPE
  • Rest timer
  • Set completion

Preserve Training

Every session stays in one continuous record.

  • WorkoutLog integration
  • Progress history
  • PR recognition
  • Movement history

Save Workouts

Save workouts you create and reuse them later through Open Training.

  • Athlete-owned
  • Private by default
  • Not a replacement for coach-created programs

Programs vs Open Training

Open Training

Athlete-directed

  • Personal workouts
  • Independent sessions
  • Self-created routines

Coaches create structure. Athletes also create training.

03Progress

Understand the work you have built.

Your training history stays with you. Programs are chapters; your progress is the story. Movement history, personal records, a training timeline, and Program Reports connect every program into one continuous record — so you can see where your training has been and where it is going, and change programs without starting over.

  • Movement and lift history across every program
  • Estimated 1RM (e1RM) from your completed sets
  • Personal records — estimated 1RM, heaviest load, and exact-rep records
  • “PR at the time” versus your current all-time best
  • A training timeline that connects each program chapter to the next
  • Program Reports for completed chapters
  • Quiet consistency — completed versus scheduled, with no invented scores

04Share with Control

Share the context that helps coaching while keeping private information private.

Athletes and coaches work from the same underlying training record without using the same interface. The athlete shares the context that helps coaching. Personal notes stay private unless the athlete explicitly shares them, and bodyweight stays athlete-private.

Athlete view

  • Personal notes are private by default
  • Explicitly share a session's notes with your coach
  • Searchable note history across your training
  • Bodyweight remains private to you

Coach view

  • Coach sees only the shared context you authorize
  • Prescribed versus completed work and performance context
  • Coaching access only after you accept an invitation
  • Access ends immediately when you remove the coach
Shared · program, schedule, completed training record, and shared notesPrivate · private notes and bodyweight

Coaches see the training facts and session context athletes are authorized to share. Personal notes remain private unless the athlete explicitly shares them, and bodyweight remains private. Access begins on acceptance and ends when the athlete removes the coach; coaches cannot change an athlete's note visibility, and no coach account-data export exists.

05Own Your Record

Download a portable copy of the training record you created.

Your training record is yours. Export a machine-readable copy of the work you logged—program chapters, sessions, recorded results, personal notes with their visibility, and optional bodyweight—before you ever change or close your account.

  • Continuous-history export across every program
  • Program chapters, sessions, and recorded results
  • Personal notes and their share-with-coach visibility
  • Bodyweight included only if you choose it
  • Download your data before account deletion

More Than a Workout Logger

More than a workout logger.

AthleticPeak Pro connects programs to daily execution, training history, and future progress — so one continuous record carries the whole journey.

  1. 01

    Programs

Structured training from the library, a methodology, or your coach.

  2. 02

    Daily Execution

Log what actually happens, set by set.

  3. 03

    Training History

Every session stays in one continuous record.

  4. 04

    Future Progress

The next decision starts with the full context.

  • One continuous record across every program and coach

Last set looked close to the limit. Let's hold Thursday's load.

Sounds good. No pain — just ran out of gas.

Private coaching conversation in the training context

06Communication

Coaching stays attached to the training.

Questions, feedback, and adjustments stay connected to the coaching relationship. Coaches and athletes can communicate privately, send announcements, and choose email notifications without moving the conversation into a disconnected system.

  • Private coach–athlete conversations
  • Direct and group announcements
  • Private announcement replies
  • Email notifications
  • In-app messaging remains available
  • Recipients never see one another
07Training Tools

The right tool, right when you need it.

Not every training problem needs another system. These utilities handle the calculations, scheduling, review, and reference work around the program.

Estimate a practical one-rep max from a completed set, then translate it into useful working percentages.

Use the tool you need, then get back to training.

08Why It Exists

Built around serious training—not generic fitness tracking.

Whether you're preparing for a collegiate season, building strength for competition, or coaching an entire performance roster, the system is designed around progression, training history, workload, and performance.

01

Precision

Working weights, schedules, volume, and progress are calculated from real training inputs—not guessed.

02

Context

Programs, completed sessions, athlete history, and coaching decisions remain connected.

03

Focus

The interface exists to support demanding training—not feeds, challenges, badges, or generic activity tracking.

09 — Next Step

Know what comes next.

Choose the training, follow the work, and make the next decision with the full context intact.
